I Chose to Stay and Serve

As a young girl, I wanted to know God and understand the power I inherently sensed was the only real power. I had visions and intuitions at an early age which cultivated an even deeper yearning to seek Truth and a desire to study the spiritual laws of the universe. Then at 18, I had an experience that changed my life forever. I experienced the perfection of God, Mind, Love, All. I saw the reality of no death or time or fear, and the allness of One Mind, expanding consciousness, and the truth that Love is All. I knew without a doubt that healing is possible. In that moment of knowing, I was faced with a choice: leave the planet or stay and put this Truth into practice. I decided to stay, and for 40 years, I have striven to demonstrate the truth I experienced that night, grown in my understanding and practice of divine law, and shared intuition and healing with all who have crossed my path. I have felt called to serve God my whole life.

True to that calling, I started This Choice Matters to share this awesome Truth and divine law of healing with the world, with you. I am an author, speaker, and God-centered spiritual healing practitioner. I help honest seekers who are feeling lost, full of self doubt, and in pain find lives of clarity, consistency, confidence, and contribution through a defined daily spiritual practice, a practical understanding of divine law, and a newfound ability to hear God’s voice.

My love for God, Truth, is at the center. I listen. I follow. I speak what I hear – with an intention of clarity and humility. My understanding of Truth has been shaped mainly by a life-long study of Divine Science, outlined in the Bible and the works of Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science. As a seeker of Truth, many representations of Truth have enlightened my understanding of divine law. I am filled with gratitude for all who speak the Truth.

Lisa Taylor, former news anchor for The Christian Science Monitor and Director of Communications in private education, is now the CEO of This Choice Matters and works as a spiritual practitioner, speaker, and coach. She helps honest seekers who are feeling lost, full of self doubt, and in pain find lives of clarity, consistency, confidence and contribution through a defined daily spiritual practice and a practical understanding of divine law and a newfound ability to hear God’s voice.

She received a BA in Business, Primary Class degree in 1980 utilizing a course of study that was originally taught in the late 1800’s at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College, studied Negotiation at Harvard Law under Roger Fisher, and Ethics at the Institute for Global Ethics under Rushworth Kidder. She is an Oracle member of Thought Leader Academy. She lives on an island with her husband of 33 years and their two grown children live in New York and Los Angeles.
