Why This Choice Matters

The feelings of discontent, separation, anger, hurt, abandonment felt very real when my parents split and the turmoil didn’t stop. I’d always loved God and had grown up leaning on God for healing, so naturally I turned to God to find comfort and guidance. In 7th grade I started a daily spiritual practice of studying the Law of God and quickly discovered a new life of clarity, confidence, and contentment.

That daily practice has been the golden thread my whole life. During an NDE at 18, I experienced the All of God – pure divine Love – no fear, time, or space – complete Love and timeless being, the reality of healing as Jesus healed, and an overwhelming desire to share this understanding with others and trained to be a spiritual practitioner. After working as a part time practitioner alongside three careers, I couldn’t ignore my calling. I now serve others full time as a spiritual practitioner of Christian Science – the Law of God, the Law of Good. I support clients to see themselves as God sees them and realize wholeness in their life – in their spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health, in their finances, in their relationships, in their careers and their life purpose. Lisa Taylor, former news anchor for The Christian Science Monitor and Director of Communications in private education, is now the CEO of This Choice Matters and works as a spiritual practitioner, speaker, and coach. She helps honest seekers who are feeling lost, full of self doubt, and in pain find lives of clarity, consistency, confidence and contribution through a defined daily spiritual practice, a practical understanding of divine law, and a newfound ability to hear God’s voice.

She received her Primary Class degree in 1980 from the Massachusetts Metaphysical College and her BA in Business, studied Negotiation at Harvard Law under Roger Fisher and Ethics at the Institute for Global Ethics under Rushworth Kidder. She is an Oracle member of Thought Leader Academy and Sanctum member of The Guild. She lives on an island with her husband of 34 years and their two grown children live in New York and Los Angeles.
